My work as a member of the Kaskinen City Council has begun, and from the very start, I want to focus on concrete actions that will strengthen the vitality of Kaskinen and enhance the well-being of its residents.
I am currently preparing an initiative aimed at establishing a Well-being and Economic Development Working Group or Committee in Kaskinen.
🎯 Objectives of the Working Group:
✅ Increase Kaskinen’s attractiveness to new residents and businesses
✅ Support local entrepreneurship, job creation, and new investments
✅ Promote the well-being and quality of life of residents
✅ Build bridges for cooperation between residents, businesses, and the public sector
The goal is to create a structure that brings together perspectives from business, social and healthcare services, and decision-makers – enabling swift responses to development needs and opportunities.
🧩 Why is this important right now?
Kaskinen needs more visibility, appeal, and tangible actions to attract new people to move here and start businesses. At the same time, it is crucial that current residents feel well and see that the city is developing in ways that support their everyday lives.
The new working group can serve as a concrete tool to implement this vision.
